We only booked one night, which turned out to be our regret. The room was adorable and the bed really comfortable, and getting in was easy since they texted us a door code so we could arrive when it suited us. Breakfast had a big range of good things, from cereal and yogurt to fresh-cut fruit, smoked salmon, and toast. Much better than breakfast at a chain hotel. We loved staying here, and it’s a handy spot for the Trailing of the Sheep festival.

Even though the airport is nearby, the estate was peaceful and quiet. We felt right at home in the gorgeous house, and the staff were easy to communicate with by text. The self-serve breakfast was the most generous I’ve ever had at a place I stayed. One of the best accommodations I’ve experienced.

Brittney only started managing this historic house hotel fairly recently, but it already felt more like home than any hotel I’ve stayed in. Downstairs, the kitchen, living room, and dining room are laid out so conveniently that it’s easy to find what you need. There’s breakfast food available in the dining room all day, with a huge selection of fresh items. I even spotted fresh tepache in the fridge, something I haven’t seen anywhere else in ages. The kitchen has all sorts of cookware, so my wife and I made our own dinners and saved quite a bit. We also used the living room’s books, board games, and TV. I like exploring when I travel, and its books about Central Idaho were helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. The managers were incredibly kind and worked hard to help guests. I liked one of the living room books so much that Brittney gave it to me. Staying here was well worth it.

Thomas was so accommodating and clearly cares about the guest experience. He suggested a good place for dinner, and his English bulldog Marlon completely won us over. I still can’t believe I forgot to take a selfie with him! The inn has a stately feel and vintage charm, with clean, roomy bedrooms, plush towels, and very comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent, with honey smoked salmon, roasted asparagus, two kinds of egg scramble, and fresh fruit salad. It was one of the highlights of our Idaho road trip, and we’d happily stay again.

Gabrielle was incredibly kind, and breakfast was delicious. I liked having a keypad for my room, so I didn’t have to keep track of a key. My cozy third-floor room looked out over the yard and mature trees, and the sheets were the softest I’ve ever slept on. Such a lovely stay!
