Wood River Inn & Suites

Michael checked us in and was really nice to talk with. The room was clean, the beds comfortable enough, and I especially liked the coffee maker with real mugs. The shower had great water pressure. A towel rack or shelf had come off the wall and was sitting on the bathroom counter when we arrived. It wasn’t a huge problem, but it took up space, and the walls and ceiling could use more insulation. Nice place overall.

We were here for skiing at Sun Valley, and the spacious, clean rooms made for a good stay. The pool and hot tub were lovely, and having ski lockers was a bonus. Breakfast had a good variety, the staff were all friendly, helpful, and diligent, and there are different restaurants and stores nearby. I’ll keep staying here.

The Utah Ice Vixen Women's hockey team stayed at the Wood River Inn and Suites in Hailey, Idaho, from November 14 through 16, 2025. The front desk service was amazing, and the hotel is only a mile from the ice rink, which was convenient. The whole team enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub, and breakfast was great. We appreciated the little touches, especially the actual beach towels in the rooms. Restaurants and thrift stores were also close enough to walk to. The rooms and bathrooms were as clean as my Mother's house just before Thanksgiving. We had an excellent experience and would highly recommend the Wood River Inn and Suites to anyone visiting Hailey. Breakfast was amazing, like a small cafe with a menu of options. Michael at the front desk was super friendly, and the facilities, rooms, and lobby spaces were clean and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, though the bathroom is very small. Ours had a fan, mini fridge, and yoga mat with stretching techniques. 10/10, would recommend.
