Gods Peace Of Maui

We booked without realizing it was a BnB, but ended up having a very nice stay. It was squeaky clean and tucked away somewhere really quiet. There’s no AC in the rooms, though, so summer could be a different story.

With our North Island resort not ready yet, we arrived late and needed somewhere close to OGG. This was the only place available nearby, but it’s a hostel and should be listed as one. The floors are concrete, the bathrooms are shared, and there isn’t a spa.

The country setting is beautiful, and I got so much joy from the nature around the property. There’s a well-kept hot tub outside, plus the grounds are cared for really nicely. Mika and Tammy are so kind, welcoming, and accommodating. The bedrooms are private, while the rest is more communal, but they’ve got everything you need: a full kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, and cleaning supplies, along with beach chairs and towels to borrow. Coffee’s on deck, and there are quick breakfast options. Paia and makawao are nearby too, so it’s a great location. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

We stayed in the family cottage and had a wonderful time. Our hosts made sure we had what we needed, even fresh eggs, and welcomed my family and me as O Hana. Mahalo!
