Best Western Executive Inn

Breakfast was awful. The sausages were so salty I couldn't eat them, the eggs were cold and seemed like a health risk, and the cereal looked like it had been sitting there for a month or two. Even with hardly anyone around, there were only two slices of bread for toast. Room 107 was nothing like the photos. The whole place smelled strongly of curry at check-in, and the room had an odd smell too. The TV remote and room phone didn't work, so I had to walk over to get another remote. The vending machine was broken, the shower was terrible, and the toilet sat maybe 12 inches off the floor, around the lower part of my shin. There weren't any outlets by the bed to charge my phone. This feels like a $50-a-night place at most. Honestly, it seemed like the owners had given up. Staying here was a mistake.

Best hotel in town, I'd say. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and the rooms are nice and clean.

The breakfast made the place feel poorly managed. The eggs and sausages were cold and low quality, and the choices were pretty basic. On the positive side, the location is convenient, the place feels reasonably modern, and the bedding was comfortable, though the pillows could use an upgrade. The shower had good pressure and the temperature was easy to adjust. I would have preferred central air and a thermostat to the in-room AC unit. The refrigerator was handy, but its freezer compartment wasn't adequate. On the first night, an alarm in the ceiling started beeping at 1:30 AM because the battery had died. That's inexcusable. They should have installed 10-year alarms long ago or set aside an afternoon to replace all the batteries before this happened in the middle of the night. I'd look elsewhere unless you find a fantastic rate.

The staff were excellent, and the rooms were clean. Getting to the highway was easy too.
