Hilton Fort Worth

Downtown is a good location if that’s what you’re after, but the rooms were dirty and the toiletries hadn’t been restocked. Friends staying two rooms away found cockroaches in the shower drain. There’s nowhere to park, and valet costs so much it feels like taking out a second mortgage. If you bring a car, you’re stuck. Even nearby lots and meters say no overnight parking. What’s the point of a huge hotel with zero parking? And there’s no complimentary breakfast, no ice machines, and, yes, no parking. Never, ever again.

The room was clean and put together, the location is fantastic for walking downtown and to Sundance Square, and the valet team was top notch. The staff were accommodating and sweet. The lobby also looks great. But old buildings come with old building problems: two of the three elevators weren’t working, and there was no hot water in the morning. We called twice for towels, though it wasn’t really an extra request. They’d left only three bath towels for a room with four people.

The central location made it easy to leave the car alone. Everything was walkable or a cheap rideshare away, so the $69/night valet was well worth it for us. The room was clean with a great view and a comfortable bed, and the staff were great. The historic building has all the amenities we needed and then some. Hilton doesn’t disappoint here. I’d stay again.

I got a gracious upgrade to a newer room at the Hilton Fort Worth, and it was spacious. The Pure Air Filtration system made a noticeable difference, which I appreciated. There’s also a coffee shop attached for an easy start to a workday, and Ruth's Chris Steak House is right on-site for a nicer dinner. Valet isn’t cheap, but it was prompt, efficient, and professional, with no delays when I had an appointment or checked out. The hotel’s history is all around you, including posters and stories about President John F. Kennedy spending his last night here and giving a speech hours before his final journey. The memorial across the street adds to the solemn feel. It’s also very walkable, with Sundance Square, the Water Gardens, and other downtown spots an easy stroll away. For a business trip, I found it comfortable and convenient, with a strong sense of place.
