Fairfield By Marriott Inn & Suites Fort Worth/fossil Creek

The place badly needs repairs and renovation. I had to go to another floor just to get ice, and the photos for this location are a lie. I only stayed because I had an event literally down the road the next day. Otherwise, I would've left immediately. Do yourself a favor and pay more to stay somewhere else. The rooms smelled like a mildew and moldy litter box. We tried three different rooms, and they all stank. The sheets felt damp, the toilet was loose and leaking, and the plumbing gave off a waste smell, even from the faucet water. The AC units smelled too and clearly needed cleaning or replacing. You can't trust the Marriott name at this location; it feels run down, like the person in charge of the franchise is cheap. The only reason this place gets one star is that the gentlemen at the front desk were helpful and nice, and the housekeeping team was pleasant.

The pool was pretty awesome, and the maids were really great. On the way to my room, they asked if I needed towels or fresh linens even though I hadn't asked for anything. Rashad was very nice when I checked in and went above and beyond with his customer service.

The rooms were clean, and the hotel was okay, with a decent gym and an indoor pool. Breakfast was pretty standard. Being right beside the highway made it loud, so we kept the fan running at night to drown out some of the noise. Not my favorite.

For a quick overnight stay, the room was good and we slept comfortably. It stayed cool, and the shower was great in the morning, though the simple room could use some TLC. Rashawn, I think, was working the night shift on 9/26/25 and was great. I'm allergic to feather pillows, and he made sure to find what I needed so I didn't end up in the ER.
