Express Inn Fort Worth

I booked for three adults and was given a room with one bed, then charged extra to get double occupancy, which was what I'd booked. The website pictures don't show this place, at least not the room I saw. I took my own photos on June 1, 2019. The room smelled like pot, the beds were dirty, the lights didn't work, the bathroom was a mess with no water, and there were holes in the walls. An Americas best is right next door for the same price and has a better room. This is absolutely the worst place to stay on planet earth.

The double rooms are a good idea in theory, but this motel still has major problems. It felt like they were built over a bed of roaches, with well-fed flies swarming around. I've been waiting three days for maintenance, which includes someone's wife and two kids.

The plumbing was a mess, so I wouldn't shower there. I slept on top of the comforter because the sheets weren't clean, and the comforter and bathroom sink both had cigarette burns. It's the most run-down, scary place I've ever stayed. You get what you pay for. If I could do it again, I'd pay the extra 20 bucks for somewhere clean and secure, or sleep in my car.

I asked for a first-floor room because I was in the area and needed a place to stay. About three hours later, several bed bugs came out of the woodwork and bit me multiple times. They moved me to another room without bed bugs, but now I have to wash everything and throw the rest away. The rooms are awful, and I don't want roaches as roommates either. The neighborhood was loud and management was rude.
