I booked a week at the weekly rate, then had to go home for three days because of work problems. When I returned early Monday morning at 2 am with a small utility trailer for our sxs, an older man approached me by my door. He said trailers weren’t allowed in the parking lot and told me to remove it from the premises. I asked if he really expected me to move it at that hour. He just repeated the rule and walked off. I went to the front desk, but he wasn’t there, so I waited about 10 minutes before calling the number I found on my phone. He answered and agreed to meet me at the desk. I told him I had two issues: he was dismissing me instead of discussing the problem, and I didn’t know where to put the trailer since I’m not from there. He said there was trailer parking and that was all I had to say. When he started toward the front door as if to show me, I followed, but he stopped and told me to wait. Then he went behind the desk and made a key card, which confused me since I already had one. He came back and said it’d be best if I got my things and left the property. I was paying to stay there, and the way he spoke to me was ridiculous. I said I had a key card to get into my room. He said it didn’t matter, he had one, opened my door, and watched me pack like I was a criminal. I asked if he owned the place. He said no, he was just the night man. When I asked to speak with a manager, he said they’d be in around 10 am, but it wouldn’t matter because everything was recorded, both verbal and visual, through the cameras. I only saw a camera near the hallway door, so I asked if that was the closest one to my room. He said I could discuss camera placement with management and pointed out the no-trailers sign at the front. He said it was lit up, but the solar light wasn’t on. I took photos, as you can see. He was very disrespectful, and I’d never recommend staying here. I look forward to speaking with a manager in person tomorrow, preferably.

I booked a room at 11:38 PM, but was told the reservation had been canceled because it was “after midnight.” That made no sense when I’d booked before midnight. Staff then tried to run my card several times, leaving unnecessary declined and pending charges. It was frustrating to have such a simple issue handled so poorly. I expected better communication and professionalism from a property associated with Choice Hotels International. This didn’t meet even basic customer service standards. I strongly recommend that management review how reservations and payment attempts are handled so other guests don’t have the same experience.

The rooms were decent for the price, and the woman at the front desk was extremely nice. But if privacy matters to you, don’t stay here. They’ll enter your room while you’re out whether or not you put the “DO NOT DISTURB” sign up. That completely defeats the point of the sign......

Choice Hotels let me cancel after a car accident following Christmas made it impossible for me to visit family, a trip I’d booked this hotel for at the beginning of January. But they couldn’t get through to anyone at this location who could help with the cancellation. They called several times on my behalf and got different reasons or excuses for why the manager wasn’t available. The Choice Hotels representative said a woman at the front desk was rudely inappropriate during her last call and gave yet another story. I called too. The front desk woman told me the manager only comes in a few times a year, and she has no way to contact him, so nobody could help me or the parent company. Choice Hotels said they were preparing a report to file against the location over the front desk woman’s different stories, inappropriate behavior, and lack of contact with the manager. Avoid this place at all costs. I don’t know what’s going on there, but I hope Choice Hotels can deal with the inappropriate and shady behavior.

For $148 on a Tuesday, I expected a courteous desk staff, an elevator, a TV bigger than 30 inches, furniture that looked clean, bathroom grout without mold, and an AC with a thermostat. Instead, they put me at the end of an upstairs hallway in an empty hotel with no elevator. They also made me write all my information on a card, even though they could just type in my phone number and find it on the computer. The front desk barely spoke English and was really belligerent. The room felt cheaply remodeled. There was no caulk in the bathroom joints, and the tile was white by the walls but pitch black across most of the floor. The two chairs looked like they’d been to Nam and back. The TV was tiny with limited channels, and the internet kept surging up and down, so my laptop streaming buffered. This would be a decent hotel for $60 a night. At $148, it’s greedy.
