I've had mixed experiences with the reception clerk here. The rooms aren't especially large, and while it's fine for an overnight stop, I wouldn't expect a comfortable stay beyond a night or two. Still, my rooms have been tidy and the beds clean, and I've never come across bugs. Like a lot of motels around here, the building has a pre-1950s design, though this one has been renovated. I arrived with low expectations.

We stayed Wednesday the 8th through Friday the 10th and had no problems. The staff were very nice, we were comfortable, and the shower stayed hot. Only reason I'm not giving five stars is there wasn't enough toilet paper.

We booked through Booking for five people, but there were only four sleeping spots, so one of us had to sleep in the car. The room was dusty and dirty, with dirty towels and a few hairs here and there. We came with very low expectations and somehow it was worse. It felt overpriced, like the "murder scene" room other reviews describe. The door card didn't work, so we had to ask reception to let us in every time. They said they'd fix it, but nothing happened. It looks like the owner doesn't care.

The best parts were the shower's temperature and pressure. Everything else was a mess during my weeklong stay starting 01/11/25. I picked a smoking room by mistake and it stank. When I asked to switch, she said all the rooms were the same. There were no ice machines or vending machines, no breakfast, and room service came every other day or so. I got one towel and one washcloth, with no bath mat or extra towel for the whole week. For the price, I expected the cleanliness, amenities, and service of a regular hotel. The room was generally dirty and needed lots of small repairs. The microwave only worked on the popcorn setting, refrigerator shelves were missing, the windowsill was filthy, and the broken heater blew air into drapes that kept cranking on and off all night. Someone had tried to shorten those curtains by hand, but the hem was coming loose. The door let air right in. There was someone's sticker on the headboard, plus gouges in the wood. It looked like a full-size headboard with a king bed. The bed was lumpy and uneven, and I had three flat pillows. The sheets and pillowcases didn't look bleached, and the bottom sheet was flat rather than fitted. The refrigerator and the so-called "walk-in" closet, just a bar above the microwave, took up the same space. The one-touch microwave was almost a joke. The whole setup was bizarre. I'm never going back.

We paid over $90 a night, and they wanted extra for early check-in. The room looked okay at first, but there was lots of hair on the back of the comforter and the towels were dirty or so stained they wouldn't come clean. The Lysol smell was overwhelming. We tried airing the room out for hours, but it kept burning my nose and throat, so I slept in the car. It's also on a very busy, loud street.
