The one good thing was being close to the beach. I still wouldn't come back, and I'd look elsewhere before booking. The kitchen sink was stained and filthy, as was the tub, so I didn't shower. The bedroom window AC didn't feel securely fitted, and I felt unsafe. There was a loud party next door well past the suggested 10 pm quiet time, so I finally called for help. The TV froze during a show, wouldn't turn off, and never worked again. I was told a noon late checkout was fine, then got an email saying my car had to be out by 9:30 or moved to another lot for $35. I also noticed an unexplained extra charge of $146 and change, posted 20 days after booking, and disputed it. The only reason for the one star is that it's the lowest rating available. Beware.

The pool across the street was okay, but its area was a mess: broken chairs and umbrellas, plus overgrown trees. The rooms need updates too. The tub had a big rust spot, the kitchen sink was rusty and leaked, and the sofa had seen better days. You have to bring your own towels, make the beds, and take out the trash, yet they left an envelope for tips. Really? Parking cost extra, and the place is a little dated. All in all, it was okay.

Sami, the owner, was great. We had a safe, clean stay, and the place worked well for our family. The beach and shopping strip were just a two-minute walk across the street. There was also access to a pool across the street, a fun extra after the beach.

Mr. Sami was kind, but I thought the bathroom looked dirty. Stains on the curtain made a bad impression. You also have to bring your own towel, and places like this should provide those basics.
