935 Ocean A Beachside Inn

We loved sitting out on the balcony with its ocean view, and the beach was right across the street. The rooms were cute and very clean, and the staff were great. The restaurant and bar behind the hotel were good too. It's a little far from the strip, but we made it work, and nights were very quiet. We'd stay again if we plan another Hampton trip.

We stayed in a Queen suite for the Smuttynose half marathon weekend. The room was clean, and the recent updates were tasteful while keeping the older hotel's charm. It's just beyond the busy commercial stretch of Ocean Blvd, which worked well for us. Self check-in was easy, and after the race we could swim at the beach across the street, then relax on the deck and enjoy the view. The on-site bar and surf shack was handy for a drink before dinner. I left my favorite shirt in the closet, but one quick call got it found and mailed back within a few days. That was so appreciated. This will be our regular race weekend spot.

I stopped here in late October on the way to ME and booked a second-floor ocean-view room. The sunrise view was perfect. It was clean and cozy, a good size for one or two people, and the full-size memory foam bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the hotel smelled nice from when I arrived until I left. The ice machine worked well, though it was pretty loud at 2 am. There was a useful guide to the area and property in the room. I arrived late, so I didn't try the restaurant, bar, or backyard. The property looked very nice, directly across from the ocean. I got emails and a phone call about registration and checkout. I'd stay again. Thanks, y'all!

We stayed two nights for our wedding anniversary and can't wait to come back. The team handling things was lovely, and the welcome drinks got our visit off to a nice start. Live music at the 935 Surf Shack added to the fantastic atmosphere. The accommodations were really comfortable and spotless, just right for a short getaway.
