Element is bright and contemporary, with sleek, spacious rooms that are well appointed. It’s a fantastic alternative to the old staple, Embassy Suites, which feels dark and dated by comparison. Parking is plentiful, and check-in and check-out go smoothly. The front desk staff are always warm and welcoming. I’d give it five stars if it had a bar. Add one, and it would be the best hotel in Hampton.

I’m a loyal Marriott member of 6 years, and I was very disappointed by the front desk service here. I called to ask if early morning check-in might be possible because I work night shifts as a nurse. The man who identified himself as the general manager wouldn’t check availability, was dismissive, and raised his voice when I asked a simple follow-up. I know early check-in is never guaranteed, but there’s no excuse for rude or unprofessional communication. This wasn’t the level of hospitality I usually expect from Marriott.

We’re on day 2 of a 9-day mini vacation, and everyone has been so helpful. Our family of 4 adults and 4 kids recently lost our home in a fire and was placed at this hotel. The kids are ages 10-1, and the hotel provided cribs, extra blankets, and towels. Check-in was a breeze, breakfast was great, and we’re all comfortable. The kids are loving it so far. Shout out to Ada and David for helping us get settled. Thank you both.

Element Hampton Peninsula Town Center was clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff were friendly, and the location was convenient. Everything exceeded my expectations during a great stay. I’d definitely come back. 🤞🏾

The front desk people are always extremely nice and patient with any request. The general manager seems not to care, though, even after you bring up the same cleaning and housekeeping issue every two or three weeks. We’ve been in the same room for about 11 months, and it’s always the same. Jennifer Colón, ROOM 322.
