Mainsail Inn & Cottages

Joe was great when we arrived after hours over the long Memorial Day weekend. Our room was clean and modern, and he let us leave the car at the motel after checkout so we could keep enjoying the beach. The place has a great vibe and is close to the beach and boardwalk. Along the boardwalk there are candy and fudge shops, arcades, restaurants, souvenir shops, ice cream parlors, bars, and plenty more. In summer you’ll also see lots of classic cars.

We’ve been coming to Seafood Fest at Hampton Beach for more than 40 years, and Mainsail has always provided great accommodations. The staff are friendly and courteous, and always ready to help with extra towels, TP, blankets or pillows. You can’t go wrong staying here.

My wife and I loved staying at Mainsail motel and cottages. The rooms were very clean, and the staff were super friendly. We’d definitely come back.

My family and I have stayed at the Mainsail every summer for 20 years, with about 30 of us renting cottages and rooms on the property. This past year was the best experience we’ve had. Ross and Olga were kind, friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, and we were able to check in right away. Olgas handmade candles and bracelets around the office made it feel cozy. Our cottage had clearly had a lot of work put into it. It was updated, nicely decorated and extremely clean. We also caught up with several people who’ve become “life long family friends” from staying the same week each year. Everyone had good things to say about new manager Ross. He took time to get to know the families, and built connections quickly. What stood out most was seeing him work alongside the staff every day, taking out trash, helping clean rooms, and checking and cleaning the pool area, all with a smile. We’re looking forward to seeing him again next year.
