The views over the water and bridge are breathtaking, and the common areas have a warm fireplace that makes them inviting places to spend time. The fitness room and sauna were clean and well cared for. Sydney was professional, welcoming, and quick to respond, and communication throughout the stay was clear. Check-in and checkout were seamless. I stayed in the Lombardi Suite overnight in February. It was beautifully designed and well equipped, with a quality kitchenette, a well-stocked setup, and good coffee by the coffee maker. The Purple mattress and adjustable bed frame made for an exceptionally comfortable night. The place has a boutique luxury feel that stands out in the Houghton–Hancock area. I’d happily return. Better-supported pillows would match the bed setup, and stronger blackout curtains would help with both light and neighborhood and bridge noise, which light sleepers may notice.

Sydney and Steve were kind and helpful, and we loved the sauna. The gym area was nice too. Our Houdini suite was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a great bed and a fun adjustable frame. The adjustable blinds, full size coffee maker, and soaking tub were welcome extras. It’s a cool space, and we’d definitely recommend it.

The owners took care of a small issue quickly, even though it was late on a Saturday night. We liked being within walking distance of Small Craft and other restaurants, and we’re already thinking of coming back with friends to use the common space. We had a great time in the Houdini Suite. It was tastefully decorated, the bed was comfortable, and the complimentary snacks were appreciated.

My husband and I like staying in hotels made from repurposed buildings, and this one had a really cool, unusual feel. Our room was large, updated, and comfortable. The adjustable Purple bed was fantastic, especially since we have the same one at home, and we slept like babies. I’d highly recommend it and will stay again when I’m in the area.

We spent the evening playing games with family by the fireplace in the community room, which was lovely. The suite was clean and nicely equipped, with a kitchen, a comfortable living area, and very comfy beds. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we loved the coffee and snacks waiting for us when we arrived. Great location, just 5 minutes from MTU. We’ll definitely be back.
