Stan’s is an easy walk from the motel, and the path also leads to Burger Shack. We loved their food, especially the burgers, which are among the three best I’ve ever had. The shakes are piled high and the kind you keep craving, and the gas station has a big gift shop with clothes, snacks, food, and drinks. Our two-night Valentine’s Day getaway at Whispering Sands Motel was so much fun. We booked the package with rose petals on the bed, sparkling cider, dinner at Slick Rock Grill, and breakfast brought to our room the next morning. The motel was spotless, the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in, and the beds were comfortable. I was glad there was a fridge and microwave, too. We also got a voucher for biscuits and gravy at Stan’s. It’s a welcoming, convenient place to stay in Hanksville or while passing through. We’ll definitely be back.

The staff were helpful during our stay and quick to respond to messages beforehand. Our room at Whispering Sands Motel was very clean and had everything we needed. It also worked out perfectly as a base for Goblin Valley, just a 30-minute drive away.

The staff were friendly and ready to help, and breakfast came with a voucher for the market next door. They have biscuits and gravy and really good coffee. In Hanksville, this is a very clean, comfortable place to stay. The beds feel new, and the rooms have all the amenities. Highly recommended.

With beautiful nature nearby, this is a handy budget-friendly motel in Hanksville. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were great. They provided a grab-and-go breakfast for the morning. A good place to stop if you’re passing through town on an adventure.

Everyone was so kind and made my group and me feel welcome. We had an amazing trip, and Whispering Sands was the place we especially loved staying. It’s a great base for visiting all the state parks. I can’t wait to come back, and I’d stay here 10,000 more times!
