It’s easy to get around from here, and the layout worked well for us. We could leave the car because it was off-season, and there are restaurants nearby. The historic Mark Twain district is within walking distance. The hotel is older, but we had comfortable beds, a hot shower, and a quiet night. Tony at the front desk gave great, friendly service. Housekeeping could have done a bit better around the bathroom sink and walls. Breakfast was adequate and hearty.

The room seemed newly renovated and had a great view of the Mississippi. The pool looked lovely, and I wished I’d brought a swimsuit. Breakfast was okay, with enough protein for me and lots of other choices. We found the rate very reasonable after reading good online reviews while looking for a stop on our way to Savannah. The woman who checked us in was friendly and helpful, I think her name was Wendy. We’d definitely stay again.

The indoor pool and hot tub were a nice bonus, and there’s room in the lobby to sit, play games, and relax. Breakfast had good hot choices, and the staff stayed friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Check-in was quick and welcoming. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and we slept well. Parking gets a little tight at busy times, but it’s manageable. We had a relaxing, comfortable stay in a great Hannibal location and would gladly come back.

My 10-year-old son and I like staying here on weekend road trips. I live in St. Joseph, MO, but grew up 30 miles north of Hannibal. We stayed Friday and Saturday night. The man who checked us in Friday was super nice and gave us a great room. The woman there the next morning came across as snobby and unfriendly, not cheerful like the others at the desk. Maybe she was having a bad morning, but as we walked away my son said, “Dad, she doesn’t seem nice.” Aside from that, it’s a great hotel 🙂

Tony was clearly proud of both the hotel and the city, and had plenty of suggestions for things to do. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hot breakfast was tasty, and the pool and spa were great. Parking is tight, so a big truck or trailer could be a problem, though I’m sure the front desk could help find a spot. We’ll be back.
