A quiet, clean place to stay, and the hot breakfast was the highlight. The pancake machine was a fun touch: press a button and two fresh pancakes come out about a minute later, with no mess.

The breakfast was good, but the room cleaning was awful on my second stay here. There was hair on the floor, wall, toilet lid, and behind the toilet seat, and the toilet base was filthy. After housekeeping came, the sink still hadn’t been cleaned and the empty body wash hadn’t been replaced. I asked at the front desk and was handed an empty container.

I was here for work and don’t know the exact prices. The area is good, with a Texas Roadhouse right beside the hotel. It’s delicious and affordable for a sit-down meal. The service was excellent and everything was very clean. Breakfast was standard, with the usual options, nothing special but what you’d expect.

The dining staff were so polite, easily the best part of the day. I came down between 8:30 and 8:45 both mornings, though, and the food was cold, so I’m guessing it had been sitting out since breakfast started. My room had a foul, moldy smell, and the shower was scalding hot no matter how I adjusted it. At check-in I asked for water, but they don’t hand any out, so you have to use a vending machine. And this may just be me being a brat, but I really dislike paper plates and plastic cutlery at breakfast. I’d prefer real dishes and silverware.
