Staybridge Suites Atlanta Airport by IHG

Kee at the front desk was a gem. She gave us the best check-in, right in the middle of a storm, and deserves recognition for her outstanding customer service. The room was clean and newly renovated. Breakfast had lots of food and drink options, coffee was available on demand all day, laundry was included, and the gym was new. Parking wasn’t ideal while the renovation was wrapping up, but it was manageable. The room was warm, though I didn’t ask the staff for help and just adjusted the thermostat myself. It was a great two day stay for sports.

I’ve been here for a while, and the rooms have been comfortable and clean. What makes it feel like a home away from home, though, is the staff. Fatima, Oliva, Lorrnia, and Veronica give five star service and really go above and beyond. Stephanie and Karawan at the front desk always greet you with a warm smile and friendly attitude, and the GM is top tier. I’d recommend this place every time. My name is Telesha.

The rooms are nice, and we like having a kitchenette so we can cook a meal over the holidays. This is our go to spot when we spend a holiday in ATL. We also had a happy hour drink at the bar, where Meme was so kind and made great recommendations. She was a great bartender during our stay. We did have some trouble with the hotel’s airport shuttle.

The staff were wonderful across the board, from the front desk and breakfast team to housekeeping. They were very friendly and took great care of us, some of the best I’ve seen. The hotel was clean and well kept. We stayed Friday to Monday, so renovation work wasn’t happening over the weekend. Some parking spots had building supplies, and workers and paint smell were around the common areas on weekdays, but on Monday we didn’t notice it in our room. The room was clean and comfortable, with good beds, great AC, a nice bathroom with hot water, and a full refrigerator and kitchenette. The living room was a little small, but it was nice having separate living and sleeping areas. The only window was in the living room, which suited us since we like a dark bedroom. It was completely quiet even though the hotel was fairly full. Parking costs $14/day and is gated. I think there was security or police present at night. The area didn’t seem sketchy, and the security was nice to have. Breakfast was typical hotel fare, eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, waffles, juices, and a fountain Coke machine. Decent, but not amazing. There was a social hour in the evening with what I think was free beer and wine, but we didn’t get to check it out. There are no ice machines in the hotel. You have to get ice at the bar or breakfast area when they’re open, or turn on the ice maker in the room’s refrigerator. Outside, there are gas grills, gas fire pits, and nice seating. It’s close to the airport and has a shuttle. We didn’t notice airplane noise. Restaurants and shops are nearby, including a Walmart and the original Chick Fil A about 5 minutes away. It was a great stay, and I’d recommend this Staybridge and absolutely stay again.
