Sleep Inn Hardeeville - I-95

The receptionists are very friendly, but the rooms need maintenance. The carpet was heavily stained, the room walls were badly marked, and I found a couple of cockroaches in the bathroom. This is a low-grade roadside hotel with poor upkeep overall. I hope this post helps them keep it in better condition.

There was nothing appealing about this hotel. My room smelled of mildew and had mold, mystery stains, roach droppings, blood, and more. I saw two cockroaches and we found somewhere else to stay. I was truly shocked by the place. Stay far away.

For $65 it was inexpensive, but the room had lots of roaches and cigarette burns on the bedspread, despite being a no-smoking room. The hallway smelled of cigarettes and weed, common doors were coming off their hinges, and the TV didn’t work. Check for bedbugs before sleeping. I didn’t find any, but there were roaches everywhere.

I didn’t even feel comfortable setting my bags down. Soon after checking in, I saw roaches crawling on the walls and bedding, which also had visible stains. When I told the front desk attendant, she showed no compassion or concern and only asked if I wanted to move rooms. I declined and asked to cancel and get my points back. She offered no help beyond the bare minimum, so I had to call customer service myself to get the reward points reversed. This was one of the worst hotel stays of my life. The cleanliness and service were unacceptable, with no hospitality at all. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
