7-hi Budget Motel

It was quiet all night, and the cozy rooms have a homey feel. The rooms are spacious, recently renovated, and the TVs are bigger than any I’ve seen at a five-star hotel. The owners are great and go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable. I suspect the bad reviews may be from before the renovations.

The owners were friendly, and I got excellent help, including with my car. My room was really clean, there were no bugs, and the heat and hot water worked. It was a great stay for the price. I’ll definitely be back, thanks again for helping me out. Ten stars if I could.

The fast internet and $63 price, including tax, were both good. They’re remodeling, so only a limited number of rooms are available right now. My main issue was the new pillows. They looked nice but were too thick and firm to sleep on comfortably. Be sure to check that there’s soap when you get to your room.

The room looked freshly redone, with nice carpet and a good-looking bedspread, and everything seemed clean. We only found a hand towel and two washcloths, though. Check-in was confusing: the front desk was empty except for a note with a return time and phone number. Nobody answered when we called, and no one was back at the stated time. When someone did help, they gave us a room code without asking my name, so I’m not sure I was properly checked in. The room also had no deadbolts.
