Courtyard by Marriott Harlingen

The front desk was excellent at both check-in and checkout, and the Marriott TV system was easy to use. I got upgraded to a king suite with a living room, kitchen, and extra TV. The room was clean, though I had some trouble managing the shower. Lighting was a little dim, as I've found in many hotels, but there were reading lights by the bed. Accessible rooms are available. There’s complimentary coffee in the lobby, a business center, a nice fitness center, and an outdoor pool with towels and an accessible lift. The hotel also has free accessible parking in a private lot. Getting from there through the carpeted lobby and to the elevators was manageable, and the automatic entrance and seating near the high-top bar were accessible. The bistro serves breakfast and dinner, with happy hour too, though its menu is posted high behind the bar and glare makes the white lettering on the dark sign hard to read. There's a cooler with yogurt and other items for purchase, plus a 24-hour market for drinks, snacks, ice cream, and a few basic travel needs.

They even had parking that worked for our trucks, and the hotel area is nice. The staff made the whole stay wonderful and accommodated all our production needs. Jeanette H handled the room booking, while hotel managers Argentina & Paul were hands-on and helped with whatever we needed on site. 10/10, would recommend.

The lobby bar was a nice place to relax, and service there and at the coffee shop stayed excellent. Erik at the front desk was especially helpful, professional, and friendly during my work trip. It was my first time in the city, and his restaurant suggestion has become my new favorite. The hotel itself feels a bit dated, and clearer signs pointing to the elevators would help. The warm, helpful service made the stay much more enjoyable.

The room was spacious and wonderful, and the pool was nice. Staff at the front desk were very friendly. With so many food and shopping options nearby, the location is great. This gave me a good first impression of the Marriott brand and lived up to its standards. Well done.
