Days Inn Harrison

The room was clean, everything in it worked properly, and the internet was excellent. The surroundings were good and accommodating too. Both receptionists were nice, the older man on the night shift and the other guy who took over in the morning. Breakfast, though, wasn’t anything special.

Room 104 was very clean, and I slept well in the comfortable bed. Everything worked as it should, and the staff were excellent. It’s right in town and just off the main road, far enough back that it stays quiet. I highly recommend this location.

I stayed here a year ago and thought it was a good value motel in a great location. This time, though, I booked rooms for myself and two employees, and the room next to mine had large mold patches and cockroaches. Mine was fine. The only vending machine was broken, and a storage unit takes up half the parking area. It’s a budget place, but seeing the standards slip like this means I won’t book here again.

The room itself was clean and the beds were nice, but there were problems everywhere else. The clerk changed the price within five minutes, then acted as if he didn’t know what I meant. Kids were all over the place, including playing in the only elevator, where someone had peed overnight. There was broken glass around, and I wondered if the person smoking pot beside the air conditioners had something to do with it. The hair dryer came out of the wall, and the faucet knob came off in my hand. At least the room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
