I was traveling from Texas and called to ask whether I could check in after midnight if I made a reservation. The man on the phone said late check-in was possible, but told me to book a double bed because they had no single beds. The website showed three single beds available and the double beds sold out. When I tried to explain that, he cut me off and scolded me, saying I had to book a double bed, that was it. The way the front desk representative spoke to me was so rude and mannerless that I’m writing this without ever staying at the motel. I didn’t expect that kind of treatment in a tourist area.

Small room, but it had everything we needed for one night. Very clean, with hot showers and a really comfortable bed. The little continental breakfast was included, and the price was very reasonable.

The room was in terrible shape and nothing like the pictures. It looked as if it hadn’t been touched in 20 years, with loose wires hanging from the ceiling and a breaker box left open and corroded. For a hotel in such a nice spot, this was the worst condition I’ve seen.

The room looked nothing like the photos online. I’ve seen crack houses that were a thousand times cleaner and in better shape. There were roaches and bed bugs.

The staff were nice, but the room was badly outdated. It was hot because the air conditioner didn’t work, there was hair on the blankets from previous guests, and the phones didn’t work either. That hair makes me think they don’t change the blankets. Breakfast was basically nonexistent when I went down: no juice, honey buns, or milk for cereal, and the coffee pot was empty. I paid $64, and it wasn’t worth even $25.
