Kingfisher Harwich Port

Steps from the beach, this place is a real find. We liked it enough to come back twice this summer. It's very clean and fresh, and the people who look after the place are thorough, friendly, and wonderful. Management is easy to reach, responds quickly, and will do anything to make your stay pleasant and comfortable.

We checked in at 3p and communication by text was super fast. They let us check in early. The room was beyond immaculate and smelled heavenly, with plenty of parking. There's a beach right next to the property, and a pull-up-and-dine place called "Uncle JouJou's" right by the beach. Check-out was quick and easy, with great communication by text. They honored our late check-out and started cleaning as soon as we left. The crew even showed us other rooms we might book when we return.

The rooms were clean and nicely updated, and we loved being just steps from the beach. We also had a short walk into town. Once we found the shortcut at the bend on Braddock St to Main St, the walk felt even shorter and safer. We just got home after six beautiful days at the Kingfisher Harwich Port.

The location is amazing, one of my favorite parts of the Cape, but the rooms are tiny. I wouldn't bring luggage if you stay here. There's no front desk, and the texting service wasn't great. We asked for towels at 8am and they didn't show up until 11am. The room smelled musty and made a ton of noise. A light by the front door blinked all night, and the blinds did little to block the light. We called the next morning to get it fixed, but no one came or even addressed it. We were so uncomfortable that we left a day early. I'd stay here for $100 a night, but definitely not for $300++.
