Winstead Inn

The room was very quiet and comfortable, and the hotel is nice with a pool. For the peak season, we got a great price compared with places nearby. The house itself is beautiful, though a little musty, and breakfast was nice. It did feel a bit far from everything. The road out front seemed somewhat dangerous at night, with some cars going extremely fast. The front desk wasn’t very helpful, either. When there was no parking at the beach hotel, they told us we’d have to wait two hours for a shuttle. So don’t count on that service. Everything we asked for was met with an eye roll.

Jodie made our birthday celebration such a lovely stay for our group of six. She was gracious and attentive, even making sure we had champagne flutes. After a few inches of snow overnight, she had hot coffee, fresh muffins, and a lovely breakfast strata ready in the morning. She also cleared the outside stairs and driveway, then took time to brush the snow off our cars. The rooms and suites were beautiful, with details like the tiled walk-in shower. Definitely one of the nicest stays we’ve had!

The property is beautifully renovated, friendly, clean, and very charming. The continental breakfast was delightful, served in a warm, comfortable room overlooking the pool, though you can choose where to have breakfast. You can relax by the pool or take an included chair, umbrella, and towels to the beautiful beach. We’d recommend a visit.

The grounds, rooms, and staff were amazing. I love this Inn, we had an awesome stay!
