Bryce Canyon Resort

The location is fantastic, and the staff were friendly, but the cabin felt dirty and uncomfortable. It was large, though very worn and grungy, so we left a day early. I asked for a receipt showing the early checkout, but they didn’t give me one and charged the full price, even though I canceled more than 24 hours ahead. There’s potential here, but right now I wouldn’t recommend staying unless you’re in a pinch.

We weren’t impressed. The room had no microwave, the TV was tiny, and there was no hot water for a proper shower. The breakfast eggs and sausage patties were cold, the coffee was lukewarm, and there was no hot water for tea or microwave to warm anything up. Toast was just white sandwich bread, though they did have a standard hotel waffle maker. The apples were Red Delicious and looked questionably old. There are other hotels nearby, so shop elsewhere.

The room had a microwave and fridge, and the location is handy for Bryce Canyon. It was fine for sleeping, but the cleaning needed more attention. There was a used washcloth on the inside of the shower rod and an old juice bottle between the bed and wall, which made me wonder about the rest of the room. A Mexican restaurant shares the parking lot, but since they didn’t serve margaritas, we went elsewhere for dinner.

We ended up here at the last minute, and it’s very close to Bryce Canyon park. The service was great. The room was just okay, with a few outlets that didn’t work and mismatched wall colors. Breakfast was the usual continental spread. Not bad.
