We just needed somewhere spacious to rest between our adventures, and this worked well. The room felt roomy after some much tighter places on our trip. It’s a no-frills spot near Bryce, and the friendly staff offered suggestions for nearby restaurants.

We were staying the night before a race, and I rarely write reviews, but I was very unhappy with how the hotel handled the town’s boil water advisory for E. coli contamination. When we arrived, our key was taped to the door, nobody was there, and there was no notice about the water. We only learned to use bottled water at dinner, from a kind man there. We could have gotten seriously sick. The contamination wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but the silence was, and it could have ruined our trip.

The room was nice, and they gave us complimentary coffee tickets for a restaurant in Hatch. It was a very good price in a great location.

We liked this place enough to cancel our Cedar City AirBnB and use it as our base for Bryce and Zion. The room was spacious, very clean, and well kept. Some details looked a little dated, but everything worked great: fast Wi-Fi, all the satellite TV channels, quick hot water, a fridge/freezer and microwave in the room, cold A/C, and towels that actually dry you.

Our three-queen suite had two bathrooms, both recently updated, and the room itself was great. This little motel has a quaint feel, though first impressions can be misleading. It’s an easy drive to Bryce and Zion, while far enough away to avoid all the traffic. We would’ve stayed longer if our plans allowed.
