The first room had a bathroom tile border coming loose and a toilet that wobbled, so it felt like the place needed some upkeep for a hotel that’s only been open around 2.5-3 years. It’s a no frills stay. The staff were friendly and quick to help, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. They moved us to a much better room, and the team handled that well.

I had the itinerary for a booking made a week ahead, but when I arrived they couldn’t give me a room for the whole stay. They apparently tried to find another hotel that could take me for the week, but I had to sort it out myself. The front desk staff didn’t seem equipped to deal with the problem they’d created. They should have honored the reservation instead of leaving me to fix it. Just disappointing. Do better.

The bed was comfortable, and the night staff were great about moving me out of an uncleared room. After that, things went downhill. Breakfast choices were very limited, and at 8:30 a.m. staff were on their phones, complaining about making breakfast or watching videos. The coffee tasted like colored water. I won’t stay here again.

The breakfast was a nice start to the day, with fruit and yogurt as well as eggs and pastries. Getting around Hattiesburg was easy too, with highways, attractions, places to eat and shops nearby. Parking was plentiful and felt secure. Inside, the rooms were spacious and well kept, with comfortable beds, plush linens, smart lighting and fast Wi-Fi. The bathrooms were clean and modern, and the toiletries were good quality. I also appreciated the ergonomic furniture and quiet air conditioning. The lobby is bright, with a contemporary look that feels welcoming. The staff were attentive and friendly, whether helping at check-in, answering questions or sharing local suggestions. They made the service feel personal. The hotel keeps things simple while still covering the details that make a stay comfortable. I’d consider it for a night or a week in Hattiesburg.
