We booked this place last minute because we needed two rooms. We weren’t expecting luxury at that price, but we did expect a clean room. Instead, there was an unpleasant smell as soon as we walked in, and the lot smelled like pee. The beds both had stains, the bathroom was disgusting, the walls were warped, the TV had static, and the phone was missing most of its buttons. The whole place looked unpleasant. It had advertised free parking and breakfast, but neither claim was true. We were charged $10 to park. On the way out, someone else told us that room guests shouldn’t have to pay for parking, so we went back to the front desk and got the money refunded. The woman there said they haven’t served breakfast for two years. I was very displeased with the stay.

We came all the way from India and were hoping for the same kind of experience we get there. Instead, we were kept waiting for early check-in. Rooms had been checking out from 9 am onwards, but they didn’t contact housekeeping to get even one room ready until 10.45, and it might have taken longer. I’m not sure how long we were supposed to wait. They charge for luggage storage too. Customer comfort should matter more than rules about not talking to housekeeping and waiting for an update.

I was happy with the two young women who helped me on my last visit. They were friendly, helpful, and had a good sense of humor. This time there was a new guy who took a long time to help me, didn’t speak loudly enough, and seemed unfamiliar with the system. Hopefully the hotel improves over time. It’s a decent place for just one day. Bring your own blankets, room deodorizer, and slippers. Some rooms have wood floors, others are partly carpeted. They advertise breakfast and transportation, but don’t have either.

They charged a $100 security deposit and other fees for no reason, promised to return the deposit at check-in, then never refunded it after I checked out. The parking lot was filthy and had a lingering, unpleasant smell. My room and bathroom were run down, very dirty, and smelled bad. Service from the receptionist was poor from the start. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in Los Angeles, CA. Everything disappointed me, from arrival through checkout. I’d advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere. It’s not worth your money or time; save yourself the frustration and choose another place in Los Angeles.
