Atlantic Inn and Suites

The Atlantic Inn is a small, charming place near the beach, with local restaurants close by. The staff were warm and friendly, and when I ran into some trouble during a difficult time, they were thoughtful about my situation. I really appreciated that. It isn't a five-star hotel, but it's well kept and in a nice area. I'd happily recommend it.

The price made this a good choice for our Asbury visit. They had coffee in the lobby, plus cereal and bagels, which was a nice extra. I noticed the outdoor pool looked nice, though we didn't use it. Maybe next time.

We needed just one night by the shore in peak summer, when places almost never allow that, and this worked out perfectly. The beach was only about seven minutes away. Chrish & Izzy were so welcoming, friendly, and accommodating, and the updated room was clean and nicely set up. The AC worked great too. The big pool was clean, quiet, and really nice. Thanks for a lovely overnight stay. We'll be back and will recommend it.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Please don't stay here. If you do, you're taking a risk. I found cockroaches, bed bugs, and black mold, and I have photos and videos that I turned over to the proper authorities. I also believe the housekeepers entered my room while I was away, went through my things, and stole from me. I set up a Ring camera and say I have proof of that too, which I also gave to the authorities. When I brought it up at the front desk, they brushed me off and ignored me. I think they may be involved as well. I waited until I had left the property before posting or involving anyone because the owner, Roddy, was rude and disrespectful to women when I tried to speak with him. He belittled me because I'm a woman, and I have that recorded too. Please be careful. I think you'll regret staying here.
