Mallards Landing

My family stayed in one of these cabins during a winter vacation in Hayward, and it kept us warm even when the temperature outside dropped below zero. The cabins are small, but had everything we needed. The showers always had warm water and the TV worked perfectly. I don't really understand why this place is rated only two stars. I'd definitely recommend it.

You're on your own here, since this is a rental cabin rather than a hotel that changes the sheets and brings fresh shampoo each day. Ours was clean and cozy, in a beautiful setting by the river. It feels secluded in the woods, though much of town is within walking distance. A very pleasant stay.

I booked a smaller cabin through Airbnb for a few nights away. It was reasonably priced, and Matt was great to deal with. He communicated well and answered all my questions.

The cabins were so clean I could've eaten off the floor, and the location was beautiful. The manager was polite and quick to respond. Maintenance and cleaning staff were efficient and well trained. I'd gladly book another stay.
