Rodeway Inn and Suites Hayward

I didn't feel safe during my stay because of activity on the property that raised concerns for my well-being. I brought it to management, but they showed little consideration and made no meaningful effort to address it or reassure guests. Staff came across as dismissive, and the lack of hospitality left me feeling that guest safety and comfort weren't a priority. I had a very disappointing, uncomfortable stay and wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone seeking a secure, welcoming place.

The night was really noisy, and I don't think I'd stay again. The bathroom was mostly nice, though it looked like the place might have been getting updated. Ceiling lights hung by their wires and didn't work.

The rooms were gross, and so was the front desk service. The guy checking us in was rude and kept yaking on the phone with his buddy in a foreign language. There weren't enough towels for everyone to shower. When we asked for another, he angrily said he could bring one at 1 or 2 am, then blocked the little window opening so we couldn't talk to him anymore. We went back to the room and found a big stack of clean, folded towels in the laundry room.

The rooms have roaches, and the place feels super dangerous with too much crime. The woman at the front desk is so rude.
