I paid $150 for a low quality stay, and honestly wouldn’t pay even $30 for it. I’ve had better experiences at Super 8 or Holiday Inn for $60. The place is very old and needs paint. There were no trash cans or hangers in the room, and they didn’t want to provide glass cups. The coffee machine was dirty, one lamp didn’t work, and when I called the lobby about it, they hung up on me.

I’ve stayed here a few times because it’s affordable and can do in a pinch. The rooms are large and somewhat clean, though maintenance seems low. The place has changed names a few times, and I believe it’s now called the Red Carpet.

One of the dirtiest motels I’ve ever stayed in. The bedspreads were filthy, the chair was torn and dirty, the dresser drawers were dirty, and there was hair on the bathroom walls. There were also people who looked like zombies living in the woods behind the motel. Be careful with your vehicle here.

The front desk guy was really nice and brought up the ashtray and pillow I asked for right away. He also refunded me without giving me attitude and apologized over and over. Still, none of that makes me willing to risk bringing bedbugs home. I checked under the mattress first and didn’t see anything, but after lying in bed watching TV I got an itchy bite on my hip, then two on my elbow about ten minutes later. I told my boyfriend, showed him the bites, and searched behind the wooden bed piece attached to the wall. Something moved, and when I took a flash picture, there was a bedbug in it. There were burn holes in the blanket, the carpets looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed or cleaned in months, and the curtains needed a paper clip to close completely so people couldn’t look in. We only had two pillows, and although I had a smoking room, there were no ashtrays until I called.
