Heavenly Hideaway on the Healdsburg Plaza

We’re a couple from Switzerland and were delighted to be welcomed in our own language, Bärndütsch. The Inn was lovely, quiet, comfortable, and very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The 5 p.m. wine and breakfast were outstanding. I’d give it a 4.5 because our room, though fully equipped, felt a little small. The freestanding bathtub in the room seemed unnecessary. A larger room would probably have earned a 5.0. I’d recommend the place.

My Mother and I spent two nights here and loved it. The inn keepers were so friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home and set up to enjoy Healdsburg. The rooms were fabulous, and the beds super comfy and soft. I would’ve slept like a baby if my Mother hadn’t snored so loudly.

The house was well kept, the location beautiful, and breakfast excellent. But dealing with the owner was unpleasant. Hospitality can mean different things, but at the very least, a host should be able to act nice. Ownership might be better suited to working for an insurance company denying medical claims. I obviously won’t be back.

Loved our stay with John and Karen. The room was comfortable, the atmosphere lovely, and the hospitality, tasty breakfast, wine tasting, and pizza from the outdoor oven were all wonderful. We’ll be back.
