Red Roof Inn Columbus - Hebron

I’ve already come back for a second stay this week. The staff and management have been great, and I had a really good experience. When I arrived after check-in time because I was traveling, I called the front desk. They let me pay an early check-in fee so I could stay through the following day. I appreciated how accommodating they were. I’d recommend this place for a temporary stay or a longer one.

The mattress was good and the water pressure was strong, but this was the worst Red Roof Inn we’ve stayed at. The non-smoking room smelled of smoke, the microwave and toilet were dirty, and part of the floor was split badly enough to stub a toe on. One pillow was torn, and there wasn’t any decent creamer for morning coffee.

We felt safe here with our kids and nephew, and the motel is pet friendly. The room was warm and clean, the beds comfortable, and there were plenty of towels, washcloths, soap, and toilet paper. The TV worked, and the hot coffee was a nice touch. My kids thought the place was ritzy, and my nephew said it was cleaner than the Friendship and the other motels back home. I’m grateful my daughter found it, and I’ll stay again after visiting my dad in Missouri. We were driving home to NJ after seeing him, but our usual route would have taken us into a snowstorm. We tried a different way to avoid it and ended up needing a motel. This one looked much better than the one next door. It’s across from TA/Bob Evans, with friendly staff and a clean-looking lobby, even with snow coming down. The design felt inviting, and honestly, who needs fancy?

The bathroom was awful, and the toilet smelled like urine. The room itself was dirty and gross. The linens were dingy and had holes, and the pillows were flat and hard.
