The cabins are roomy, rustic, well cared for, and feel much more private and cozy than a hotel or B&B. Each has a porch for sunrise or winding down at dusk, and there's a charming playground for kids. The steep driveway is a bit of a workout. Up on a hill overlooking Seneca Lake and vineyards, the retreat has lovely views and that Finger Lakes feel. In some seasons, especially fall, you can smell grapes and apples in the air. The basics inside are a Keurig, a small fridge, and a microwave, which were plenty for us. Management was attentive and quick to help, even after hours, when a mix-up in the third-party booking email caused an issue with my cabin code. The pictures don't quite capture how lovely this place is. It was peaceful and full of charm, and I'd highly recommend it for a quiet vineyard-country getaway.

The family who run this place were welcoming and really helpful, and everything was clean and tidy. Our first visit to the Finger Lakes was everything we'd hoped for and more. We'd recommend coming here and hope to visit again.

Ashley was kind and helpful from the moment we booked right through the end of our stay. My wife and I spent the weekend at Single Island Shores for my son's wedding. The cabins were beautiful, cozy, and very well built, with a view of Seneca Lake. We hope to come back sometime.

The staff were so helpful, accommodating, and informative, and the location worked out great. You're among wineries, breweries, and places to eat, with Watkins Glen just a stone's throw away. The cottages are clean, spacious, and have everything you need. The bed was especially comfortable, which matters to us. It's an inviting, comfortable spot to unwind or use as a home base for exploring Seneca Lake.

We've been here twice now, and the place is just as nice as it was three years ago. This time we stayed in the upper Lakeview cottage. It was clean and well maintained, with a decent-sized bedroom and a living area in front. I'll come back whenever we can.
