The room was comfortable, and the price was good. Everyone on staff was so friendly, especially Ellen, who took care of breakfast. Her southern charm made my family smile, and she was eager to point us toward fun things to do.

We had a great time in Helen, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. We stayed three nights, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We usually choose Country inns and suites wherever we go. The bathroom and heater were the problems: the tub had a poor-looking patch and a black stained ring we couldn’t explain, and the faucet felt loose where it met the wall. The bathroom needs upgrading. The heater and air unit made noise at night, and its cover needs replacing. The fins couldn’t be adjusted and blew right at our faces in bed, so we had to figure out our own workaround.

The indoor pool was wonderfully warm, especially with temperatures in the 20s outside, and the beds and pillows were super cozy. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly. Downtown is within walking distance too. We really enjoyed our stay at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Helen, GA and would happily stay again.

The staff were the best hotel staff I’ve met. The front desk clerk was so kind and accommodating, and we loved the Christmas decorations she put up. The woman making breakfast was just as sweet, checking on us while we ate and insisting on cleaning up after us. Our family of five had plenty of room in the two-queen bedroom suite: the bedroom door separates it from the living room, which is spacious and has a pullout couch, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee and tea station. Breakfast is included, and it’s not continental. There’s an indoor pool, a small gym, and the choice of stairs or elevator. The hotel is older, but it was quiet and clean. Downtown is a short walk, and there are a few hidden gems nearby.

We checked in around 5:30 p.m. on December 1st and were greeted with wonderful service right away. The front desk lady was incredibly sweet, made us feel welcome, and offered great recommendations before we even asked. I wish I’d gotten her name, she deserves a raise. The room was beautiful, and we enjoyed the breakfast too. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Helen GA.
