Breakfast had a nice selection, and fruit, coffee, and hot water were available in the lobby all day. Still, I'd look elsewhere if I stayed in town again. It was a very busy weekend in Helena, which might explain some things, but our stay had plenty of problems: rooms weren't fully stocked with basics like toilet paper and soap, the ice machine on one floor didn't work, WiFi was down throughout our stay, and one person's reservation was inexplicably canceled in the hotel's system, then blamed on the guest. Front desk service was mixed too. Two different attendants gave checking-in guests conflicting stories that same morning about whether the hotel WiFi worked, so there was clearly miscommunication or oversight. Shoutout to the employee with colorful hair, whose name I didn't catch, for being consistently friendly and helpful.

Parking is somewhat limited, though accessible spaces are available. The breakfast choices are really good, and the rooms have things like microwaves and coffee pots. There are also microwaveable items you can buy right up front, which is handy since you don't have to go anywhere. It's very nice, and the staff seem pretty nice too.

We were working 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., so being woken up wasn't appreciated. At 11 a.m. a cleaner came banging on our door with a vacuum, apparently unaware we were staying another night, and then asked if we were checking out late when we came out. Also, they're always out of towels for some reason.

Even after I checked out, the hotel kindly forwarded a package I'd ordered that arrived later to my home address. I'm truly grateful to everyone who helped with that. I also want to thank Evie, who was exceptionally kind and attentive, and made an effort to speak with me in my native language, Portuguese. It made me feel welcome and showed real care for guests. My stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites Helena was great. The cozy hotel has excellent, well maintained facilities, and I was treated very well throughout. It has a great location and a warm atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Helena. Thank you so much!
