Travelodge Hemet Ca

The room was spacious, with very comfortable beds. I appreciated the refrigerator, the desk and office chair, and the friendly, helpful front desk attendant. Parking was in an overflow lot with cameras, which made me feel a little safer. There were some real upkeep and cleaning problems, though. The A/C kept shutting off and was extremely loud when it ran. The faucet sent water up like a mini geyser, and the bathroom light sounded like a plane taking off. I found hair on the shower walls and TV, plus mold in the tile grout. There was no screen on the window, so opening it didn’t feel like a good option. The neighborhood also felt a bit sketchy, with homeless people around. It has useful features and plenty of space, but the noise, cleanliness, and maintenance need a lot of attention.

I stayed for two weeks, from Nov 26-Dec 9 2025. The desk clerks and other employees treated me like family. The room was clean, and there wasn’t street traffic. I recommend this place.

We had prepaid for the room, but when we arrived, the area felt unsafe and there didn’t seem to be secure parking. There were lots of sketchy guests. We spent only about 15 minutes in the room before my gut told me to leave. I’ve never felt so sized up or like I was about to be robbed. The room was rundown, but very clean. We didn’t stay long enough to check the beds or use the bathroom.

I’ve stayed at plenty of Travelodge locations over the years, and this one in Hemet, CA feels well managed, clean, and safe to me. Hemet does have a homeless and drug problem, and the motel tries to address it with security, keycards, and cameras. It still helps to watch your surroundings, though every city has some danger. I’ve been in some pretty sketchy areas and motels, and even the most crime-ridden cities have their problems. Some of these reviews downgrade this place quickly. Give Travelodge a chance to make your stay a positive one, like it did for mine.
