There’s plenty to do at MonteLago Village, from browsing the small shops to eating by the water. Luna Rossa and Mimi’ & Coco’ Bistro were standouts for us, with tasty fresh food and a cozy feel. We also picked up snacks and essentials at Seasons Grocery, where the staff were really helpful. Renting kayaks at the marina and paddling across the calm lake was a lot of fun. The setting is gorgeous, with cobblestone lanes and little piazzas overlooking the 320-acre lake and desert mountains. It gave me a bit of Tuscany, even though it’s only 17 miles from the Las Vegas Strip. Walking along the shore was lovely too, and the village felt peaceful while still being close enough to the Strip for a quick trip. We caught a free concert by the lake one evening, sitting on a blanket with a drink and listening to music under the stars. Events like that make the place feel lively and welcoming. The resort-style pool and spa were great for relaxing, and the fitness center was well equipped for a quick workout. I also appreciated the secure underground parking and how easy it was to get around on foot. The staff throughout were warm, attentive, and seemed proud of the village. MonteLago Village felt like a peaceful, luxurious place with lots of charm, whether you’re there for water sports, food, shops, or the views. I had a five-star stay and am already thinking about coming back.

We loved our first stay here, celebrating our 19th anniversary. The room was very clean, and having a kitchen was so convenient. Our lake view was beautiful, and we enjoyed the pool and the cute village. When we lost our keys, we called the office and someone came right away to let us into the room. The service was great. We’re so glad we found this little getaway and can’t wait to return. Thank you :)

We had a great family stay at the Viera. Our two-bedroom, two-bath condo had a good-sized living room, balcony, and kitchen, just right for the four of us. The grounds were well maintained, and we could walk to restaurants, lake water-sports rentals, a small grocery store, and the golf course. Biking trails are nearby too. There were two pools, one heated and one unheated, plus a hot tub that wasn’t working properly, which was disappointing. Still, it’s a great spot for family time or for a Lake Mead boating trip. The nearest launch ramp was a quick 10-minute drive. We love it here!

We had a great Father’s Day weekend. Our room was close to the lake with a lovely view, and the two bedrooms, kitchen, and living room worked really well for us. The shops were just a short walk away.

The lake and the surrounding scenery are beautiful, and this oasis makes it easy to forget you’re in the desert. There’s a shopping plaza, though sadly many stores are closed or looking for new tenants. The casino is closed down too.
