We chose this place for the parking and the location, since I’m disabled and can’t climb stairs. We’d driven a long way and I was already grieving a close family member, so the lack of courtesy made an already hard day worse. We were charged $80, but the service wasn’t accommodating at all. We checked in at 12 and didn’t know checkout was at 10 a.m. They rushed us out, with no notice or signs about checkout time and no room phone. We were trying to run a bath so I could get ready for the funeral service. The housekeeper spoke neither English nor Spanish, except to repeat that checkout was at 10. She was rude and came into the room while my husband and I weren’t dressed. A teenage girl only gave us 15 minutes, which wasn’t enough for both of us to get ready and leave. The shower was so old we couldn’t get it working, and she lost us more time by pulling at the bottom of the faucet several times to turn it on. She said every place nearby checked out at 10, but Baymont and Hotel 6 had checkout times of 11 a.m. and noon. I’m disabled and unable to use stairs, and Baymont was booked, so we were tired after the long drive and had no good option. We were very disappointed.

The staff were so friendly and happy to have us. Even the lobby smelled great. I’d love to know what they were cooking so I could buy some! The location worked perfectly, and the parking was right by each room. You could see your car and not worry about where you’d left it, which felt reassuring if you’re concerned about break-ins or theft. Our room was clean, bright, and warm, with free cable TV and Wi-Fi, hot water, comfortable beds, and plenty of pillows. Thanks for respecting my time when I called to compare prices. A lot of hotels and motels won’t give you the nightly rate without putting you through their deals and surveys. I’m happy to be here, especially since you had a room available on an icy lockdown night.

I stayed from 2/9/23 to 2/10/23 and was very disappointed. Before checking out in the morning, I went to shower and saw what looked like black mold on the shower curtain. The musty smell in the room suddenly made sense. I contacted the hotel for a refund, but they’re making it difficult and say they need to speak with the owner. Why does an owner need to be consulted about black mold and an unsanitary room? I filed a complaint with Priceline and planned to call the health department in the morning. I was also going to see a doctor to find out whether I’d been exposed. No wonder all the room doors were wide open when I arrived. I stayed in Room 53. They later said they spent the whole day in that room and found nothing. I wish I could post the shower-curtain photos I took, with the timestamp and location. I’ll be calling the health department to file a formal complaint. Other reviews mention similar sanitation and condition problems, so read them and think twice before booking. I don’t believe telling them at 5 a.m., when I found the mold, would have done me any good. The room should never have had black mold in the first place. Their excuses about me not notifying them right away don’t change that. I informed them when they opened and then posted a negative review, which I think is enough notice. I’ll get my money back from this place one way or another.

A nice little motel and a pleasant stay, except for some noise that night from a motorcycle rally in the area.

The beds were clean and comfortable, and the place was pretty clean overall, though the bathroom floor needed more attention, especially in the corners. It’s an old place, and the plumbing could use some work. They provide one coffee for two guests, and there’s nowhere to plug in the coffee maker. I’d probably stay again if I were in Henderson, but I think it’s overpriced for what you get.
