We heard clanking now and then throughout our stay, and our room must have been above or below the laundry room. The room rate was $109 when we contacted the hotel directly, but online services showed it for around $85. Rooms are a little smaller than usual, and there’s only a walk-in shower stall, no tub. The $35 pet fee seems unwarranted. A refundable deposit would make sense to me, but this fee isn’t refundable. Breakfast wasn’t the worst I’ve had and could be better, though it is complimentary.

For a reasonable price in this area, this was a good stay. The room was comfortable and had some updates, there was a pool, and plenty of other amenities. It’s definitely not the best hotel, but I’d recommend it to someone looking for a fair rate. Check several sites for the lowest price, like Priceline or kayak. I personally use Super for my hotel lowest rates!

We had a very nice stay at the Hampton Inn in North Carolina. The location worked perfectly for our trip, the room was great, and the service was exceptional.

I want to recognize the outstanding work of Front Desk Agent (FDA) Crystal, Household Technician (HT) Ana, and Chefs Josephine and Sarah from August 26, 2025 through August 28, 2025. Crystal welcomed me with a warm smile that made me feel truly welcome. She was courteous and professional while carefully processing my documents, and her efficient check-in made my arrival smooth and enjoyable. Even during a busy period, she was patient, positive, friendly, and helpful. She quickly found my reservation, handled the registration accurately, and smoothly navigated the system. After hours on the highway I was exhausted, so her speed and knowledge were much appreciated. She answered my questions, gave useful information about the area, and made sure I had what I needed for a comfortable stay. Her willingness to help with requests, always with a smile, made checking in a highlight of my trip. She showed a genuine desire to make me feel at home and what I consider high standards in guest service, even in challenging situations. Josephine and Sarah prepare great food each morning. In my opinion, they don’t make mistakes or serve food that prompts customer complaints needing to be corrected. The food’s taste shows their commitment to making fine meals. It’s clear they enjoy their work and making thousands of customers happy each year. They have a strong work ethic and deliver meals that meet customers’ requests, even on stressful days. My family and I have been coming to this hotel for decades and have always found the breakfast food to be the finest. It’s served at more than an acceptable temperature, and the coffee is hot. The delicious desserts and pastries are a highlight alongside breakfast. The chefs are dependable and serve customers promptly.
