The pool was a fun place for the family to unwind, and breakfast gave us a good start each day, with plenty of fruit, pastries, eggs, and coffee. Our room felt fresh and comfortable from check-in, and it was clean and well kept. The staff were warm and helpful throughout. It's about 10 mins from the Canal Park area of Duluth, which is a must. We had a pleasant getaway and will definitely be back.

We've stayed here four times now, so it's enjoyable enough for us. Nothing fancy, but comfortable, and the service was good whenever we needed it. Breakfast was fine: scrambled egg mix and sausage one day, biscuits and gravy the next. It's right by a main road, next to an Outback.

The staff were great and understanding, and we're getting a full refund, though the kids were disappointed since they'd been looking forward to the pool. We ended up leaving after an hour and heading home because the water was green and cloudy, smelled awful, and felt slimy. I don't know if it was a filtration problem, but it was gross. We'd booked on 2/14 for a 2/15 check-in, then got checked in and ready for swimming before discovering the hot tub was broken and roped off. My husband was told staff had called everyone about it. No one called us, and when I phoned on 2/14, they didn't mention it.

That morning noise was hard to miss, the Bass Pro Shop night light and loud music kick in around 7am. We chose this place for the amenities, but after checking in found the Hot Tub and Pool Slide weren't available. If you're planning to stay, ask whether they're working first. I drove 3 hours and left disappointed.
