Days Inn by Wyndham Greenville MS

I slept well and the customer service was nice. The rooms were clean, the beds cozy, and the heat worked really well. Looks like they've been renovating, though it could use more paint and has a few minor things to fix.

The online photos are misleading. The rooms looked old and rundown, with stains on the curtains and peeling paint on the bathroom ceilings. There were filthy lamps, brown marks in the tub, stains on the mattress, and layers of grime on the electronics. One friend found a bedbug in her bed, and in the other room there was a roach crawling on the floor, plus dead crickets. Spider webs were everywhere, like the rooms hadn't been dusted in decades. We came with friends for her birthday, and the place felt loud, unprofessional, poorly managed, and unsafe. Save your money and go elsewhere. Housekeeping, though, was very nice.

Some front desk workers and the housekeeping staff were great, but a lot of the room contents looked old, dirty, rusty, and worn out. This place has changed tremendously for the worse over the years, both in how it's run and how it's managed. I heard people arguing early in the morning and woke up from the yelling. I had a pest issue too. I also experienced and witnessed too many rude, unprofessional incidents. The rooms, staff, and management all need a lot of improvement.

Customer service was excellent, and I think the hotel could be great with serious renovations. But I didn't get my money's worth, and the awful stay wasn't worth the $170.00 I paid. The room wasn't clean, with roaches and crickets everywhere, and the walls were dirty, moldy, and dusty. The microwave and fridge were badly rusted, looked extremely dirty, and smelled sour, like they needed cleaning. I filled the bathtub and the water looked dark yellow and brown, like pure sewage water. There was no iron for my clothes, the TV remotes didn't work, and towels hadn't been stocked. My experience this past weekend was horrible. This place needs to be shutdown ASAP, and I will NOT book again. Feel free to reach me via email if you need more information.
