Mint House Greenville Downtown by Kasa

We were glad to have a place to gather right in central downtown Greenville. The apartment was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location was fantastic. Check-in and checkout were easy too. Staying at the Mint House was a great decision, and we'll come back.

The apartment was spotless and spacious, with big windows, and looked just like the website photos. It's in a nice, safe, convenient area, with easy access to parking, shops, restaurants, and the building entrance. I was pleasantly surprised by how walkable it was. A simple instruction sheet would have helped me find a few things. The thermostat was hidden behind the TV and plant, and I didn't find it until the next day. The door fob and parking pass were tucked in the corner under the kitchen counter ledge, so they weren't easy to spot. I'd have preferred them left in the open on top of the counter or dining table. I had to call customer service twice for help, but they were very helpful. I'd recommend paying the $10 parking fee in advance so you don't have to sort it out on arrival or risk a $70 ticket.

The location was excellent. We walked to dinner both nights and got to the Peace Center for a concert in less than five minutes. I really enjoyed the stay, though Kasa didn't honor the 10% first-time discount it had issued and promised. It seems like a catch.

Great location, and the place itself was fantastic apart from a few things the owners could upgrade. The little round table should be larger or square for people who cook and eat in. The bar stools look nice, but aren't comfortable. We adjusted the toilet chain because it kept catching in the flapper and making the toilet run. If I had a ladder, I would've looked at the bathroom fan too, since it was frozen. It might just need a new motor. I replace those in our rental units every season for about $30, and it's easy without paying a company that would probably replace the whole unit.
