We move around for my husband’s work and bring our cat and dog, so we just need somewhere quiet, simple, and reasonably priced. I was wary after reading other reviews, but once we got settled, we were happy. The location is quiet, the rooms are large and comfortable, the staff are great, and the elevator is fixed. They’re in the middle of a complete remodel, so the lobby is full of boxes and the fitness room, ice machines, and other things aren’t available. For what we need, though, it’s perfect: plenty of space, a fridge and microwave, a tub with a shower, and a pet-friendly setup. Your mileage may vary, but if your needs are simple, I highly recommend it.

I was excited about the price and location when I booked two rooms, but after reading the reviews I changed my mind. They mentioned housekeeping, the hotel’s condition, the color of the sheets and blankets, the smell, and cars in the lot late at night with music playing and people hanging around. I’d wondered why the place never seemed busy, and the reviews shocked me. I saw that picture of the roach, too! I cancelled the reservation, but they charged a cancellation penalty and refunded only the amount for one room. I lost the money I’d spent. I hope they go out of business.

Avoid this place. The hotel is old and in rough shape, and the elevators weren’t working even though they put us on the second floor. My key wouldn’t open the door, so I had to go back to the front desk and get new keys made.

The outside looks much better than the inside, and it would’ve been better to stay outside. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the hotel overall was dirty and had a musty smell. My room had no towels, no hairdryer, and drawers full of trash. At first I was told I’d have to wait until housekeeping arrived at 9 a.m. because I had an earlier commitment. To his credit, the man at the desk managed to find me some towels. Still, I’d avoid this place.
