Red Roof Inn Greenville

The rooms are clean, the prices are great, and the hotel sits in a lovely spot among the trees. Casey, Cindy, and Red are kind, shining people at the front desk. They go out of their way to help and are rare gems. I feel blessed to have met them.

Getting to the hotel was easy, and it’s set off its own private road, but the highway is right beside it and you WILL hear cars all night. During my stay, several sketchy people were walking around and smoking next to rooms. There’s supposedly a designated smoking area, but nobody enforces it. I worried someone might break into my vehicle while I slept. The original room had no working heat, a broken door stopper jammed into the wall, uncovered outlets, and the hot and cold water were switched. Management moved me to another room, which was better but still had problems: stained sheets, a door that looked like it had been shot, and shower faucet settings that didn’t match what they did. This was by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed, and I never usually review places. Don’t stay here. You get what you pay for.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and Casey made our Christmas vacation amazing. We’re medically disabled and hadn’t realized when booking that we hadn’t reserved an accessible room. When we called to confirm a downstairs room because of our disability, Casey made sure we got the appropriate one. That kind act made the stay amazing, and because of her we’ll definitely come back. My wife and I love staying at the redroof inn in Greenville SC. The rooms seem almost soundproof, and everyone is nice, polite, and friendly. We actually look forward to coming back. James Michael Greene
