The bathroom was dirty, and the way the desk staff treated us made us feel like we didn’t matter and were a bother. We arrived around midnight and had requested a ground-floor room because my mother is disabled. The woman was very rude about it. If customer service isn’t your strong suit, find another job. Other customers won’t come back because of her. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Owner, teach the staff how to speak to guests, or hire people who can at least manage a fake smile.

The smell of weed coming from next door kept waking us through the night. We were exhausted from traveling, and it was the only ground-floor room left. Moving upstairs wasn’t an option since we can’t walk very well. There was no toilet paper in the room at all, so I had to go to the office for some. They also had no soap or shampoo. That didn’t bother me because I brought my own, but it’s something to know if you don’t.

We needed AC after our power went out in a storm, and this place worked well for that. It’s a motel, so don’t expect luxury. The beds and bathroom were clean, and there was soap, toilet paper, and towels. The floor was clean apart from a couple of dead crickets. The room had a comforter, flat sheet, and two pillows, though I always bring my own blankets and pillows.

The woman who checked us in was really friendly, and everything went smoothly. Our room was clean, though the beds were old and the shower pressure could use some help. We stayed just one night and only needed it for sleeping, so it was okay.

The service was great from making the reservation through checkout, and the room was clean with no sign of bugs or pests. The beds are hard, though. For our one-night road trip stop that worked fine, but if you’re used to a soft bed, this might not be the best choice for a longer stay.
