Rodeway Inn Hesston

We didn’t hear any noise at all, and the place was peaceful. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and quick to answer questions. They also let us check out a little after the posted time. For this price range, it was one of our best stays anywhere. The pool and hot tub areas looked clean, though we didn’t get to use either. The included toiletries seemed standard, but we brought our own. Breakfast was good, especially the biscuits and gravy, and there was coffee and hot water in the lobby. The toilet handle had an issue, but we told the staff and they fixed it within a couple of hours. Our only small complaint was the room temperature. Even with the heat off, it stayed around 75-80 degrees, and the in-room AC couldn’t quite keep up. Opening the window helped. Temperatures were swinging by more than 30 degrees a day while we were there, so it seemed tied to that change rather than the room itself. We didn’t mention the AC to the staff. We got to Wichita in about 25 minutes, and the area was very peaceful. I’d strongly recommend this hotel to anyone staying nearby.

The Mexican restaurant across the parking lot was very good, with prices like before COVID. The rooms were great, and the lobby was a nice place to relax or read. We didn’t try the pool or hot tub. It was good value for the money, and this Rodeway Inn is a gem, since a lot of them can be hit or miss.

It was easy to find, with nearby restaurants and main roads close by. I had a pleasant stay at Rodeway Inn Hesston, and the quiet atmosphere and good value made it easy to relax after a long day of travel. Check-in went smoothly, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. For a simple, affordable stay in the area, it’s a solid choice, and I’d definitely stay again.

The bed was firm and comfortable, and the Jacuzzi suite was clean. The indoor pool area was cute. Breakfast was a nice surprise, with sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, muffins, waffles, breads, the usual hotel cereals, fruit cups, and yogurt. The coffee was good too. The price was okay.
