Horseshoe Tunica- A Caesars Rewards Destination

The bed was really comfortable, and the stay was decent, but the room had a few issues. The air wasn’t right, though maybe that was just me, and there was no bathroom fan to clear the steam. The towels and washcloths were dingy and rough, as if they use too much bleach or skimp on quality, so bring your own. I didn’t go onto the casino floor.

The restaurants were decent and the service was good. We had a three-night weekday stay, though most things were closed until the weekend, so extra amenities weren’t available. There was no housekeeping during the stay, and we started with too few towels. I asked the front desk for more, and they left some for us, which was nice. The hotel looks good, with a huge room and recently updated room and hallway. It wasn’t a bad trip, but I don’t think I’d come back during the week.

Only one of the four elevators was working while the hotel was sold out. We also had to call maintenance at midnight because the AC couldn’t cool the room. It was set to 65 but the room was 73. The maintenance men were really nice, and that’s why I gave service three stars. The supervisor who checked us in was the opposite. She wasn’t outright rude, but acted like I was a bother at the desk and didn’t smile, ask how we were, or wish us a nice stay. I’d give her zero stars. They’ve remodeled rooms, but things haven’t improved. You can’t hook up a game system like a Switch anymore because they removed the option to change the TV input. We’ve stayed several times, and this was easily the most disappointing.

Goldstrike was awesome, but this place was the worst. My 76-year-old mother and I stayed two nights, and our room was a total mess. The staff were rude and acted like they didn’t want to be bothered. I’m a DIAMOND PLUS member, but they treated me like some homeless lady. I’m unhappy with the stay and strongly discourage anyone from going here.
